42 oz chicken broth
3 cans tomato soup
2 pkgs cream cheese
frozen cheese tortellini (family size)
1-3 fresh basil chopped or about 1T dried
Salt and pepper
1/2 T sugar
V8 juice (to taste, just pour in a little 🙂
Bring broth to boil, add tomato soup. In a separate bowl microwave cream cheese for 1 minute. Add 1 cup of the hot soup to cream cheese and whisk until smooth and melted. Add that to soup.
Add the rest of your ingredients. Pour in tortellini (you can use as many or little as you’d like) Cook on Med-Hi for 20-30 min for noodles to cook.
I made this for Troy’s graduation, along with a couple of other soups, and this one disappeared the quickest by far.
