1 egg
¾ C. sugar
1 t. vanilla
¼ t. salt
1 t. baking powder
½ C. flour
½ C. chopped walnuts
1 C. diced apples
Preheat oven to 350.
Beat the egg, sugar, vanilla, salt and baking powder together until smooth and fluffy. Beat in the flour until smooth and well blended.
Stir in walnuts and apples. Turn into a lightly greased 8” pie plate and bake 30 minutes. Pie will puff up as it cooks but then collapses as it cools.
Serve warm, topped with a scoop of ice cream.
