Hamburger Rolls

1 Cup Milk
4 t. Honey
4 T Butter
3 C. Bread Flour
3/4 t. Salt
1 t. Bread Machine Yeast

Recipe makes 6 rolls on the 1 1/2 pound setting.

Add ingredients to the bread machine in the order recommended by the machine. Use the dough setting. Take out when complete and punch down. Grease cookie sheet. Separate dough into 6 pieces, and tuck edges under each so the top is smooth. Place on greased cookie sheet (I use parchment paper) and cover with a tea cloth. Set in a warm place to rise for a hour or until the dough doubles. (I boil water in the microwave and then put the sheet in the microwave for an hour because my kitchen is cold.) Bake for 12-15 minutes at 375.

Note 1: The recipe actually called for 3 t. butter, but I used 4 T. Oops. It was delicious.

Note 2: The recipe also calls for 2 C. wheat flour and 1 C. bread flours, but Taylor doesn’t like wheat bread and I used all white instead.

Note 3: You can also beat an egg and brush it on the rolls before baking so as to sprinkle sesame seeds on it. Or add sesame seeds to the dough while mixing (or onion flakes).
