1 pkt French Onion Soup mix, onion bits removed
1/2 Stick Butter
1 T. Brown Sugar
1 t. Worcestershire Sauce
2 Onions, quartered
Croutons
Shredded Provolone or Gruyere Cheese
Follow soup mix directions. Melt butter in dutch oven & mix the brown sugar and Worcestershire sauce in. Fold onions into the butter mix and caramelize them in the dutch oven over medium high heat; approx 2 1/2 hours.
Makes 2-3 servings. Garnish with croutons and cheese.
