1 pkg yeast
1/4 C. warm , not hot, water.
4 C. sifted flour
1 t. salt
1 1/4 C. sugar
1 cup (2 sticks oleo)
2 eggs beaten
1 C. milk (scalded & cooled to lukewarm)
1 T. cinnamon
In a small bowl dissolve yeast in water.
In large bowl combine flour, salt, and 1/4 cup sugar.
Cut in 2 sticks Oleo.
Combine and add milk, yeast and eggs.
Refrigerate over-night.
Divide dough in 1/2.
Roll out 1/2 of the dough to a large rectangle and spread with sugar and cinnamon mixture ).
(opt. – Sprinkle raisin on top of the cinnamon & sugar mixture.)
Rollup dough and slice into 15 equal parts.
Lay sliced side up on a lightly greased cookie sheet.
Smash flat and sprinkle with sugar/cinnamon mixture.
Follow same directions for other 1/2 of the dough.
Bake at 400 degrees for 12 minutes
(Opt. – You may dribble with a frosting glaze.)
