½ cup butter
2 cups self-rising flour
2 cups white sugar
2 cups milk
3 ½ cups blackberries
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter and pour into 9×13 pan.
Mix flour, sugar, and milk; batter will be slightly lumpy. Pour mixture into pan with melted butter. Do not mix.
Sprinkle blackberries into batter. Bake for one hour.
