1 cup butter
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
2 eggs
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup milk
2/3 cup cocoa
1&1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup cherry chips
1cup chopped walnuts
Chocolate Frosting:
6 tablespoons butter
6 tablespoons milk
1&1/2 cup sugar
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
preheat oven to 350 degrees. Combine butter, sugar, flour, cocoa, baking powder, eggs, milk, & vanilla. Mix well. Mix in cherry chips & walnuts. Spread in a greased 9×13″ pan. Bake 45 minutes or until the brownies pull away from sides. Cool & frost. Cut into 1 1/2″ squares. Makes 3 dozen
For the frosting:
combine butter, milk & sugar in saucepan. Boil for 30-40 seconds, remove from heat. Add chocolate chips & beat until chocolate is melted. Spread over cooled brownies. Generously frosts a 9×13″ pan or up to 5 dozen cookies.
