1 C. Crisco
3/4 C. Brown Sugar
3/4 C. White Sugar
2 Eggs
1 t. Vanilla
2 1/4 C. Flour
1 t. Baking Soda
1 t. Salt
Chocolate Chips
1/3 C. Cocoa Powder (for double chocolate chip cookies)
Cream the first 5 ingredients, set aside. Mix the flour, baking soda, salt and optional cocoa. Slowly add flour mix to wet ingredients, adding chocolate chips at the end. Bake at 350 for 9 – 11 minutes. Leave on baking sheet 2 minutes after baking.
