Bacon on the stove is annoying and messy. Since discovering I can make bacon in the oven, I make it more often.
By freezing bones until you have enough, you can make a great bone broth.
I save scraps from onion, green pepper, celery, carrots, you name it. I even saved ginger and jalapeno scraps, so my batch has a bite to it.
The most tender pork.
I love apple butter, and was just thrilled to find this easy recipe to make my own. Great on toast, biscuits, or just by the spoonful.
