Geraldine Hornickel
4 C. Flour
1 1/2 C. Shortening (1/2 lard, 1/2 Crisco)
1 t. Baking Powder
1 t. Salt
1 Egg
1 T. Vinegar
1/2 C. Water
Mix 1st 4 ingredients together completely. Beat egg then add water and vinegar. Add to flour mixture and mix well.
Makes 7 single pie crusts or 3 2-crust pies.
