Ma Hornickel
Crust:
1 1/2 C. Sifted Flour
1/2 C. Brown Sugar
1/2 C. Margarine
Filling:
2 Eggs, beaten
1 C. Brown Sugar
1 1/2 C. Coconut
1 C. Chopped Nuts
2 T. Flour
1/2 t. Baking Powder
1/4 t. Salt
1/2 t. Vanilla
Frosting:
1 C. Powdered Sugar
1 T. melted Oleo
Lemon Juice
Combine crust ingredients; mix well and pat down in a buttered 9×13 pan. Bake at 275 degrees for 10 min.
Combine filling ingredients and spread on top of baked crust. Bake 20 min at 350 degrees.
Combine frosting ingredients and spread on top of filling while still warm. Cool and cut into squares. Makes 24 2″ squares.
