2 sticks of unsalted butter – room temp
1 cup powdered sugar
½ tsp Kosher coarse salt (I am sure you could use regular salt) (If you use butter with salt, you probably would decrease the salt you add)
1 tsp vanilla
1 Tablespoon Milk
2 Cups Flour
I mix the butter and powdered sugar together first then add the rest and mix it. I used just a hand mixer, I am sure a kitchen aid would be much easier. I end up mixing by hand toward the end.
I used a 9×9 square pan. I press them in the pan, but I try not to pack it too tight. I also took a fork and put little holes on the top.
Bake at 300 for 45-55 minutes
