Roasted Brussels Sprouts

1 lb. Brussels sprouts
Oil (I use coconut oil)
Salt
Pepper
Garlic powder
Onion powder

Preheat oven to 350. Cut Brussels in half. Add all ingredients in a sealed bag and mix until Brussels are all coated. Zoe and I toss the bag back and forth to make it more of a game. Bake for approx 15 minutes. Turn Brussels over and bake approx 15 more minutes.

I used to *hate* brussels sprouts. Then Jenna told me to buy them fresh and roast them in the oven in bacon grease. Instead, I used coconut oil, and it became a favorite. These are Zoe’s second favorite vegetable, after green peppers of course. Pro tip: never, never, never eat frozen brussels. They must be fresh.
