2 T butter
1 T flour
2 C cheese
16 oz pasta
Chopped green chilies
Cook pasta according to the package. Leave in strainer. Melt the butter in a saucepan and then add the flour to make a roux. Add the cheese until melted. Add pasta and green chilies; mix thoroughly and serve hot.
Janel gave me the basics of stove-top mac and cheese, so I took note and started making it. I like the added flavor of the chilies, and sometimes I add onion powder.
